Orders & Payments

CAN I CANCEL OR MODIFY MY ORDER?

Order can be cancelled within 2 business days after an order is placed. Email us as soon as possible if you require any adjustments. We'll do our best to accommodate your requests before your order is processed typically within 3 business days.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept all major secure payment methods, including:

  • Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay (where available)
  • Shop Pay for faster checkout
  • Shop Pay Installments (if enabled in your region)

All payments are processed through Shopify’s secure checkout system, so your information is always protected.

HOW DO I KNOW MY ORDER IS CONFIRMED?

After placing your order, you'll receive a confirmation email to the provided email address. Please check your spam folder if you can't find it.

How Long Does An Order Take To Arrive?

Each item takes 3-5 business days to process. Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email notification with tracking details.

Estimated delivery timeframes:

  • International: within 10-12 business days (after processing)
  • Hong Kong: within 5 business days (after processing)

Please note occasional delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. If significant delays happen, you will receive an update.

Shipping & Delivery

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we offer FREE shipping worldwide. All orders include tracking so you can follow your parcel from dispatch to delivery.

Where do you ship from?

Most orders are carefully packaged and shipped from our studio in Hong Kong, where we handle quality checks and packing with extra care for delicate, ornate frames. Some handmade items are shipped from Australia.

how long does shipping take?

Processing time is typically 1–3 business days.

Estimated delivery times (after dispatch):

  • Australia / New Zealand: 5–12 business days
  • USA / Canada: 7–15 business days
  • UK / Europe: 7–15 business days
  • Asia: 3–8 business days
  • Rest of world: varies by destination

Please note that international shipments may experience slight delays during peak seasons or due to customs clearance.

Will I need to pay customs or import duties?

We generally ship orders duty paid, but this can vary depending on your country’s import rules. In some cases, local customs may still apply taxes or duties, which are determined by your country’s customs office and are the buyer’s responsibility. If you’re unsure whether this applies to you, we recommend checking with your local customs authority for guidance.

How will my order be packaged?

Every piece is packed with care to ensure it arrives safely. We typically use:

  • Thick protective padding around frames
  • Bubble wrap layers to prevent scratches or impact
  • Rigid cardboard or padded shipping boxes
  • Corner protectors when necessary

We take packaging seriously, especially for ornate or glass-framed pieces.

Products & quality

Do frames come with the prints?

Yes. All framed art pieces on Petibaroque include the fine art canvas print shown in the listing, unless stated otherwise. Your piece arrives ready to display right out of the box.

Will the colours look exactly like the photos?

We do our best to photograph each piece accurately, but colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings and lighting. Hand-finished frames may also have subtle variations in tone, which are part of their unique charm.

Are your prints fine-art quality?

Yes. Our prints are produced on high-quality textured canvas using fine-art reproduction techniques. This gives each piece a rich, detailed appearance that closely resembles traditional artwork.

How should I care for my framed art and prints?

To keep your framed art looking its best:

  • Avoid placing it in direct sunlight to prevent fading.
  • Dust frames gently with a soft, dry cloth.
  • For frames with glass, clean the glass lightly and avoid letting moisture touch the frame edges.
  • Keep away from high humidity areas like bathrooms.
  • Handle gently — ornate and hand-finished frames benefit from delicate care.

Returns & Exchanges

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Yes — we accept returns and exchanges for unused, undamaged items within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us first so we can provide return instructions. Items must be returned in their original packaging. Returns that arrive damaged due to insufficient packaging may not be eligible for a refund.

What if my order arrives damaged?

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours with clear photos of the item, packaging, and shipping label. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund right away, depending on what you prefer. Your happiness is important to us.

What if the wrong product arrives?

If you receive the wrong item, please let us know as soon as possible with photos. We’ll correct the mistake immediately and send the correct product at no extra cost.

Who pays for return shipping?
  • For change-of-mind returns, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
  • For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, we cover the cost of return shipping (if we require the item back) or may approve a return-free refund depending on the situation.

Custom Orders

How does the custom portrait process work (revisions, approval, etc.)?
  1. Send us a clear photo of your pet.
  2. We create a digital preview of the artwork within 2–3 business days.
  3. You can request unlimited rounds of adjustments if needed.
  4. Once approved, we print and frame your artwork.

After approval, no further changes can be made as the art moves into production.

Can I request custom combinations of frames / art?

We can only offer frames as specified in the listing but we can send you a digital file upon request if you purchased a framed custom pet portrait.
