My name is Sybil, and I live in beautiful Sydney, Australia. I started Petibaroque in 2024 after being made redundant from my job. I was initially quite worried about the future, but it turns to have been a blessing in disguise as it forced me to take action on a long time dream of starting my own business in vintage decor and the flexibility it allows to spend more time to spend with my little family. It’s been a steep learning curve and each day is filled with little challenges and surprises - but I feel blessed to have launched my little shop this year, and to share my passion for cute, quirky vintage home decor with you :)

As a lover of all things miniature and nostalgic, the name Petibaroque was inspired by the ornate beauty of Baroque art in petite doses. Bringing the by-gone era to every home and every room.
